New Academic Leaders Join Immaculata University

Immaculata University announces the appointments of Kristi L. Ringen, Ed.D., MBA, as vice president for academic affairs and provost, and Craig L. Fuller, Ph.D., MLS (ASCP), as dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
“The Immaculata University community will benefit greatly from the contributions of Drs. Ringen and Fuller. Their commitment to academic excellence, along with their innovative approaches to education, align seamlessly with the University’s goals and mission,” stated President Barbara Lettiere ’72.
Kristi L. Ringen, Ed.D., MBA
Ringen brings more than 15 years of higher education leadership experience to her new role as vice president for academic affairs and provost. She recently served as dean of the School of Business and Technology at Holy Family University, where she spearheaded strategic initiatives, achieving a 60% increase in undergraduate enrollment and managing budgets exceeding $2 million. Her dedication to academic excellence and student success has been demonstrated through innovative program development, including fully online and hybrid offerings, as well as maintaining specialized accreditation standards.
Before joining Holy Family University, Ringen served as director of graduate programs at Delaware Valley University, where she launched the institution’s first online graduate program. Her professional background also includes leadership roles at Prudential Financial, where she advanced to director of leadership development and executive talent management.
Ringen earned an Ed.D. from Delaware Valley University, an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
Craig L. Fuller, Ph.D., MLS (ASCP)
Fuller joins Immaculata as a seasoned academic leader with more than 13 years of experience. Most recently, he served as dean of the School of Natural, Health, Social, and Behavioral Sciences at Centenary University, where he oversaw 17 majors and 11 minors. His leadership included successfully guiding accreditation processes, developing health science programs and fostering partnerships to enhance experiential learning opportunities for students.
Prior to his tenure at Centenary, Fuller was an assistant professor at Parker University’s College of Chiropractic in Dallas, where he enhanced the curriculum to improve board examination outcomes and fostered an inclusive academic environment. He also taught clinical laboratory science at Eastern Michigan University, contributing to accreditation processes and student recruitment efforts.
Fuller holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh, a diploma in medical laboratory science from Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, and two master’s degrees and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Baylor University.
