The academic calendar shows all important dates. For the 2026 spring semester, note these dates:

• January 19 – Martin Luther King Jr Day – Holiday
• January 20 – Spring Semester Classes Begin
• March 9-13 – Spring Break
• April 2-6 – Easter Break (no face-to-face classes)
• May 1 – Last Day Class

FERPA, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, is a US federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. FERPA prevents Immaculata University from speaking with anyone other than the student regarding their information. A student who is 18 or older is considered the primary adult on the account. The student can give Immaculata University permission to speak with someone else by completing the FERPA form found on the MyIU Student Portal under the SSIU Student tile. Once the student has completed the form, the person listed can receive information on the student account and communicate with Immaculata University.

Academic advisors will help your student choose a major, fulfill that major’s requirements, plan out a course schedule, and stay on track to graduation. Your child can get one-on-one learning support from academic coaches and tutors. We also offer some information and resources for parents.

 If your child has a documented learning, physical, or psychological disability, Immaculata’s disability services staff can create an appropriate accommodations plan. The mission of disability services is to ensure equal access for qualified students with disabilities, encourage self-determination skill development, and to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to promote and facilitate an inclusive campus community.

Immaculata’s College of Undergraduate Studies charges full-time tuition and a student services fee. Certain courses and services carry additional fees to cover materials and other expenses. Students who live on campus can explore the cost of several housing options and a variety of meal plans.

Term bills and monthly statements are generated electronically and available online in the Student Account Center, accessible through MyIU student portal.

Authorized User

Students may set up an authorized user(s) to access bills and make payments on their behalf. The student must complete the Authorized User set-up in the MyIU student portal, Student Account Center tile under My Profile.

The financial aid office provides information about applying for grants, scholarships, loans and student employment.

If a student withdraws from a class or classes, they should contact their financial aid counselor to see the financial implications. Your student does not need to make an appointment to stop by the office and with a financial counselor.

Free or low-cost health and counseling services are available to help students stay in good physical and mental health.

The counseling center at Immaculata University is available to consult with family members who have concerns about their student. Consultations may focus on how to assist a student experiencing a challenging time/situation, how best to refer a student to the center or how to locate local resources.

Commencement ceremonies are held once a year in mid-May at the end of the spring semester.
