The campus community recently gathered to dedicate the new eight-lane athletic track, a first for Immaculata University.
This all-new track surrounds Draper Walsh Stadium, and features eight-lanes, a long jump and triple jump runway, cage for hammer throw and shot put, an area for the high jump and pole vault, and a steeplechase pit.
Additionally, the track will support the university’s exercise science programs, providing a venue for cardio endurance testing and clinical rotations, and serve the campus community as a whole as another area for fitness recreation location.
The new track looks fantastic and continues to add to our top-notch facilities here at Immaculata. For the first time in our track and field program’s 10 year history, it will have a world-class, competitive track to practice and compete on throughout the year.Amy Badorf
