Immaculata University Awards Presidential Scholarships to Five Incoming Students

Over the summer, Immaculata University awarded Presidential Scholarships to five outstanding members of the Class of 2029. The Presidential Scholarship is the University’s prestigious merit-based award, equal to the recipient’s annual full-time undergraduate tuition for all four years of undergraduate study.

These scholarships are granted to exceptional first-year students who demonstrate academic excellence through GPA, rigor of high school coursework, standardized test scores, class rank, and letters of recommendation from teachers and counselors.

“We are honored and grateful that these exceptional students have chosen to continue their studies at Immaculata University,” said Immaculata University President Barbara Lettiere ’72. “We welcome them and look forward to being a part of the process that puts them on the course to achieve great things.”

The 2025 Presidential Scholarship recipients are:

  • Kurken Arpajian IV of Newtown, Pennsylvania (Bucks County), majors in psychology and plays for the men’s lacrosse team.
  • Colin Ciavarelli of Lansdale, Pennsylvania (Montgomery County), majors in communication.
  • Anthony Contento of Cherry Hill, New Jersey (Camden County), majors in nursing.
  • Bailey Kassis of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania (Montgomery County), majors in politics, law and policy.
  • Connor Theiss of Stormville, New York (Dutchess County), majors in Cybersecurity and is a member of the Red Cross club.

These students join a group of scholars whose academic records and achievements reflect the values and mission of Immaculata University.
