Immaculata University is pleased to welcome six new faculty members for the upcoming academic year. These educators join Immaculata’s mission to deliver a high-quality, student-centered education.
Below is a list of each new faculty member, his/her department and hometown.

Sharon M. Jones
Associate Professor
Division of Nursing
Mantua, N.J.
Jones received her B.S.N. and M.S.N. degrees from Thomas Jefferson University and earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Rowan University. She began her nursing career at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital before joining the faculty. Jones has also taught at LaSalle, Penn State-Abington and Rutgers. Before coming to Immaculata, she was the director of human resources and professional development at Hangsterfer’s Laboratories in New Jersey.

Mychelle Berry
Assistant Professor
Natural Sciences
Philadelphia, Pa.
Berry joins the faculty in the athletic training program. She earned her bachelor’s master’s and doctoral degrees in the field and has been serving as an adjunct instructor for athletic training programs at various colleges for the past two years. She previously was an athletic trainer for ATI Physical Therapy in Wilmington, Delaware and for the University of Pittsburgh and University of South Carolina. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Tammy Hock
Instructor
Psychology and Counseling
Audubon, Pa.
Hock graduated from Penn State-Abington with a B.A. in Letters and Sciences, concentration in social behavior. She continued her education with a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University. Hock is pursuing her doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision from Shippensburg University. From 2020 to 2024, she was an Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD) counselor at West Chester University. She is a licensed professional counselor, certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor.

Dominic Pigneri
Associate Faculty
Theology and Philosophy
Fairfax, Va.
Pigneri received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and then a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. Her completed his formal education with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Systemic Theology from the Catholic University of America. His teaching experience includes seven years at the Catholic University of America and George Mason University.

Paakhi Srivastava
Assistant Professor
Psychology and Counseling
Media, Pa.
Srivastava earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in New Delhi, India and conducted her Post-Doctoral Fellow at Drexel University’s Center for Weight, Eating and Lifestyle Science (the WELL Center). Before joining Immaculata, she served as an assistant research professor and director at the WELL Center. Srivastava is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and India.

Victoria Squicciarini
Instructor
Division of Nursing
Bala Cynwyd, Pa.
Squicciarini earned her second bachelor’s degree in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University School of Nursing and then received her M.S.N. from Chamberlain University School of Nursing. She has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova and Immaculata universities. She started her nursing career at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, working as a clinical nurse in med-surg, telemetry and progressive care/stepdown units.
