Cue & Curtain Theatre Presents Fall Production

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

Cue & Curtain Theatre at Immaculata University is excited to present “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon,” a whimsical play by Don Zolidis that brings together all 209 classic fairy tales and lesser-known stories from the Brothers Grimm in a unique and entertaining way. The first performance will be a matinee on Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m., followed by evening performances on Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. and a final performance on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. All performances will be held in Alumnae Hall Theater on the University’s campus. As the oldest organization at the University, Cue & Curtain Theatre presents a drama or comedy in the fall and a musical in the spring.

“The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” is a lively, fast-paced comedy where classic fairy tales meet the bizarre. Narrators and a talented cast of actors, all current Immaculata students, join forces to merge all 209 stories, from beloved classics like “Snow White” and “Cinderella” to quirky gems like “The Devil’s Grandmother” and “The Girl Without Hands.” Prepare for a wildly enchanting theatrical experience filled with audience participation and madcap fun. The production is recommended for audiences ages 14 and up due to some adult situations and themes.

Thew production is directed by Immaculata student Emily Reid ’26 of Beachwood, New Jersey, with assistance from co-director and fellow student Emma Allee ’26 of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. Both are learning under the guidance of Kelly Gebhardt, D.M.A., the coordinator of Cue & Curtain Theatre and a lecturer in music at Immaculata.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for all students and senior citizens (65+). Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 484-323-3731. For more information, call or email cctheatre@immaculata.edu.
