Allied Health, B.S. – Radiologic Science
This is a clinical specialty concentration of the Allied Health program.
Radiologic technologists perform diagnostic imaging examinations to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions. They prepare and position patients, operate equipment (X-rays, CT scans, mammograms, etc.) and ensure patient safety.
Radiologic technologists work in healthcare facilities, including hospitals, physicians' offices, nursing homes, imaging centers, and mobile units.

Program Highlights
- 3 years of academic coursework at Immaculata, including courses in the sciences and healthcare management and experience in the hospital, prepare students for the clinical program within radiologic sciences.
- Students spend 1.5 to 2 years at the clinical affiliate to obtain training in the equipment, protocols, and patient care protocols used to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
