Allied Health, B.S. – Pre-Pharmacy
This is a clinical specialty concentration of the Allied Health program.
Pharmacists ensure the safe and effective use of medications. They dispense prescription medications and provide information to patients about the drugs and their use, including side effects and potential interactions. They may also provide immunizations and conduct health screenings.
Pharmacists work in pharmacies, including those in drug stores and grocery stores. They also work in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

Program Highlights
- 3 years of academic coursework at Immaculata, including courses in the sciences and healthcare management and experience in the hospital, prepare students for doctoral study within the School of Pharmacy.
- Students will spend an additional 4 years at the affiliate school completing the coursework and obtaining clinical experience to become a pharmacist.

- IU students meeting the admissions criteria are granted priority review
- Priority placement for up to 7 Immaculata students
- C or above in all science courses
