Board of Governors Responsibilities

Actively participate in the four yearly all-member meetings of the Alumni Board of Governors (ABOG).
Serve and participate on two committees of the ABOG. Committees include Affinity, Exploration, Governance, Outreach and Service, and typically meet via conference call between ABOG meetings.
Actively participate in the activities of the Board including but not limited to:
- Nominate and vote for ABOG delegates and encourage other alumni to participate in this process as well.
- Participate and/or support Alumni Board volunteer initiatives.
- Support the Alumni Association Scholarship
Attend and support alumni activities and events such as On the Road events, Carol Night, and Reunion. In addition, participate in community service projects such as Bingo at Camila Hall, IU Cares Food Cupboard, and other community service projects hosted by the Alumni Association.
Connect with and encourage fellow alumni to participate in Alumni and University events.
Support the University financially at a personally meaningful level, with a minimum donation of $100, annually. The required donation can be made in increments and spread throughout Immaculata’s fiscal year (July 1-June 30). This will begin with the class nominated in 2027.
Encourage fellow alumni to support the university financially.
Serve as an advocate for Immaculata University to prospective students.
Advance the University’s mission and goals. Help educate alumni and friends about the needs and strengths of Immaculata University.
