Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023–June 30, 2024) was a MIGHTY year for Immaculata University, thanks to the generosity of our loyal donors. Collectively, almost $900,000 was donated to The Immaculata Fund, and along with restricted donations and endowment contributions, FY24 raised $3.2M in support of IU students.
We selected the theme of “Together We Are MIGHTY” for this year’s Honor Roll of Donors because with a basic definition of huge and powerful, mighty is the perfect adjective for IU. Combined, the expansive reach of all donations work as one to strengthen our institution, ensuring access to education for over 1,270 students through scholarships and financial assistance, while also providing funds for necessary campus capital improvements. FY24 saw the successful completion of the $600,000 Villa Maria East Dormitory Renovation Campaign, which lightens the burden on IU’s existing dorm space; and IU opened a fully renovated dining hall this fall to ensure all students have a modern, comfortable space in which to relax between classes.
This past year was philanthropically exceptional for IU in that we exceeded all goals for the Charter Day of Giving (raising almost $126,000 from 325+ donors), exceeded 6% overall alumni participation for the year, and had over 350 re-engaged or first-time donors. These numbers are meaningful in that together we are working to ensure the growth and future success of IU. Over the past seven years Immaculata has completed over $17M in donor-funded campus improvements, which is a huge accomplishment!
Institutional Advancement endeavors to provide a variety of opportunities to engage your support. Whether you donate to a campaign or on the Day of Giving, purchase an auction item, commemorate a Lantern of Love, share a required minimum distribution disbursement, obtain a matching gift from your employer, or make a gift meaningful to you no matter the amount—all gifts combine as one to provide an impactful experience for IU students.
Your continued support coupled with that of new donors is vital for fiscal year 2025. We have an unrestricted goal of raising $1.1M for student scholarships and innovative emerging priorities. Your participation will ensure our success!
