Honor Roll of Donors 2024
Together We Are Mighty
Honor Roll of Donors July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024

President Lettiere
Dear Alumni & Friends of Immaculata,
It is with great pleasure that I am able to say Immaculata is doing quite well, thanks to the generosity of our alumni and donors. Every donor and every donation counts.
A few short decades ago, Immaculata’s sports teams were known simply as the Macs. However, after the women’s basketball team made a spectacular run to the 1972 national championship, a local reporter suggested calling the players the Mighty Macs. The name stuck, and although there were stars on that championship team, every player contributed mightily to its success.
Looking back over the past 50 years, Immaculata donors have employed this same mighty mindset, and we celebrate that commitment to IU through our theme for this year’s Honor Roll of Donors: “Together We Are Mighty.”
In fact, Immaculata alums and a host of other supporters over the past year have been truly mighty by offering more than $3 million in support to our amazing institution. These donations have allowed us to renovate, expand, update and rejuvenate the campus, significantly enhancing student resources. Throughout my tenure as president, I have been immensely fortunate to witness the unwavering support of dedicated donors. We say it all the time, but it’s true: every dollar counts. Collectively, your contributions make the mission of Immaculata possible.
For over a century, Immaculata has provided tangible support to its students through scholarships and financial aid and an outstanding faculty. Coupled with invaluable experiences, such as extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities, an education at Immaculata equips students for both professional success and personal growth.
In this Honor Roll of Donors, you will discover stories of our trailblazing alumni who made the most of the opportunities offered by Immaculata. Read about Alice Travis ’65, who leveraged her education to make a significant impact as a broadcast journalist. Learn why giving back remains crucial for Dan Burns ’14, even a decade after his graduation. And be inspired by the journey of the mother-son alumni duo, Maureen ’90 and Brian ’24 Clark, who were both beneficiaries of scholarships.
As we embark on fiscal year 2025, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every donor. The cumulative impact of your support will secure a mighty future for Immaculata University and our students. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and interest in Immaculata.
Sincerely,
Barbara Lettiere ’72, President
