Diocese of Harrisburg Cohort

Step 1: For approval by the Diocese of Harrisburg, please complete the following by April 15, 2027.

1. Three Recommendations:  Submit three completed recommendation letters to Karen Luckie via email to kluckie@hbgdiocese.org for consideration to the Principal Academy program. One reference must be from your building principal. Qualified candidates will be invited to interview.

Step 2: For consideration by Immaculata University, applicants approved by the Diocese of Harrisburg in Step 1 will submit the following materials to Immaculata University’s Office of Graduate Admission by May 15, 2027.

• Official transcript of academic record from each undergraduate and graduate school attended.
• Resume

Students in this cohort will receive a 25% discount making the cost per credit $535 for the 2026-2027 academic year. Review the university’s additional fees.

The Principal Certification program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of school leadership, including curriculum, law, and community relations.  You will be equipped to communicate, engage and empower those both inside and outside of your schools while serving as an advocate for children in the larger political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context.
