Summer 2026 Campus Renovations

Throughout the summer, several areas of campus will undergo renovations, construction and routine maintenance according to our FY27 capital plan and list of donor-funded projects.

Alumnae Hall

• Create new hallway and dividing door in women’s locker room for laundry services
• Install new washers and dryers for athletic needs
• Install new emergency generator for the building

Campuswide

• Patch concrete
• Trim and remove trees
• Remove and replace carpet in dorm areas and other spaces around campus
• Relocate various offices

Dechantal

• Turn over dorm rooms (clean rooms, repair furniture, snake all shower and sink drains)

Gabriele Library

• Refresh Terrace level, including adding a broadcast studio, podcast studio and digital media lab for academic purposes
• Refresh the front of the building, including new concrete and removal of bushes
• Install new emergency generator for the building

Gillet Hall

• Convert old kitchen and dining room into new dorm rooms (18 students)
• Convert old chapel into a laundry room, multi-purpose room and kitchenette

Good Counsel 

• Relocate media photography room from Gabriel Library to Room 22

Grotto

• Create new Grotto behind the Lettiere center

Lettiere Center

• Install new AC units throughout the building (inside and outside)
• Install new camera facing the Grotto

Lourdes

• Paint all doors and door frames on the 3rd and 4th floor dorms
• Convert 2 lounges to dorm rooms (4 students total)
• Install new door at Campus Ministry entrance
• Turn over dorm rooms (clean rooms, repair furniture, snake all shower and sink drains)

Loyola Hall

• Add door to separate meeting room and classroom 312

Marian 

• Convert apartment 27 into dorm room (3 students)
• Turn over dorm rooms (clean rooms, repair furniture, snake all shower and sink drains)

Villa Maria Hall

• Convert 2nd Floor Villa West offices into dorm rooms (14 students)
• Convert 2nd Floor Villa East lounge into dorm room (4 students)
• Install new Terrace Rotunda furniture
• Install new furniture and window coverings in the Villa 1st Floor alcoves, 2nd west alcove
• Install new window coverings in the Green Room
• Replace Exterior Dome Windows (9 windows)
• Turn over dorm rooms (clean rooms, repair furniture, snake all shower and sink drains)

Waste Treatment Plant

• Replace pumps, motors, and blowers

West Campus Apartments

• Install new AC unit for (2) apartment units
• Insall new apartment common area furniture in both buildings (12 units)
• Turn over dorm rooms (clean rooms, repair furniture, snake all shower and sink drains)
