Student Government Association
The purpose of the SGA is to provide an opportunity for every student of the College of Undergraduate Studies of Immaculata University to develop his or her individual character, personality, and capacity for leadership to the highest possible degree through the exercise of personal and group initiative, resourcefulness, and responsibility in the conduct of student affairs. Everyone can be involved in SGA. Whether you are an elected official or a volunteer representative, SGA is looking for dedicated students to serve on committees and, also, be present at SGA, class officer, and council meetings to lend extra input.
Student Leadership Recognition
Each year, the Office of Student Life takes time to recognize and celebrate the individuals, clubs, organizations and advisors that truly embody the spirit of leadership and Immaculata’s core values.
Student Leadership Selection
Every year, fully enrolled IU students are encouraged to apply for a student leadership role. The student leadership common application is a convenient and one-time annual application that is reviewed by professionals from various IU administrative offices.
Student leadership at Immaculata University is all about the development of the individual student and the health of the entire campus community. If you seek and are selected for a student leadership role, do so with an understanding that leadership is:
- A commitment of service to the Immaculata University community and beyond
- A responsibility that is carried out on campus and off campus
- A willingness and dedication to the holistic development and growth of self
- A fun opportunity that will impact your life for greater success!
