Letter of Eligibility Certification

For the superintendent’s letter of eligibility, you need to have a state certificate and a minimum of six years of professional service in a basic school, three of which have been in a supervisory or administrative position. Students must be accepted through the doctoral admission process.

The program requires a minimum of 360 hours of field experiences, including a 180-hour clinical experience. The clinical experience provides opportunities to integrate education theory and research with practical experiences in the school district. You may accomplish this task through participation in work site activities. The focus of the clinical experience and coursework are directly aligned with the standards of the Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership program.
