Artificial Intelligence Endorsement

Immaculata’s fully online AI Endorsement equips educators with the skills and knowledge needed to engage with AI critically and effectively in guiding students and designing today’s evolving learning environments.

You will understand and interact with AI in Education to learn the strategies needed to enhance the teaching and learning process and to ultimately help your students prepare for the workforce.

You will complete 40 hours of field experiences that are closely integrated with coursework and program goals.

Tuition and Costs

The tuition is $535 per credit for courses offered in the endorsement when taken as a stand-alone credential. This per-credit tuition rate represents a 25 percent tuition discount. Please review tuition and fees for rates associated with additional program enrollment.

Learning Outcomes

  • Develop a strong understanding of AI concepts, tools, and terminology while exploring how AI reshapes teaching, learning, and the educator’s professional role.
  • Apply AI to enhance curriculum design, instruction, and assessment in ways that personalize learning and foster creativity.
  • Learn how AI shapes human cognition, creativity, and societal systems, analyzing its influence on work, governance, and global equity.
  • Design approaches that promote human well-being, ethical collaboration, and sustainable progress in an AI-integrated world.
  • Understand how to lead and manage AI-driven innovation across schools and districts.
  • Complete 40 hours of field experiences, culminating in the preparation of a professional development plan or workshop.

Prerequisite for Program

To be admitted into the AI Endorsement Program, candidates must hold an Instructional I or Instructional II certificate.

  • EDL 681 – Foundations and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Education
  • EDL 682 – Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning
  • EDL 683 – Artificial Intelligence in Human Learning and Society
  • EDL 684 – Innovation and Leadership for Artificial Intelligence in Education

Courses may be taken as a standalone credential or as a track in Master of Arts in Educational Leadership program.
