ACT 45 & 48 Credits

ACT 45 / PA Inspired Leadership (PIL)

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requires all active school leaders, including principals, assistant/vice principals, superintendents, assistant superintendents, and IU executive directors/assistant directors to complete continuing professional education through courses that meet ACT 45 / PA Inspired Leadership (PIL) guidelines. More information regarding PIL can be found here.

At Immaculata University, only PDE-approved courses fulfill this requirement. These courses are listed on the ACT 45 form, and the requirement is met by completing two approved courses (totaling six credits or 180 hours).
