Psychology Students Present Research
Dr. Maria Cuddy-Casey attended the American Psychological Association’s (APA) annual conference in Washington, D.C. with Hayley Rogers ’27, Sabrina Ganime ’27, alumna Jaylynn Carey ’25 (currently in Immaculata’s M.S. in Counseling program) and high school student, Ishaan Singh.
The students worked with Dr. Cuddy-Casey on designing, implementing and analyzing a study on the meaning of tattoos. The goal of attending the prestigious conference was to complete the research experience with students. Mentoring these students helped them gain valuable practice presenting research and networking with professionals in the field.
Dr. Cuddy-Casey also had the opportunity to sit at the Routledge publisher’s booth to speak with attendees about her experience publishing her first book Mindfulness Giving: Harnessing the Art and Science of Positive Psychology.
