Michael Stevens Speaks About AI in Supply Chains
Michael Stevens, Ph.D., assistant professor of supply chain management, said artificial intelligence is best used to support (not replace) human decision-making in increasingly complex supply chains. Speaking at a logistics conference, Stevens explained that AI can help businesses improve visibility, coordination and efficiency by identifying exceptions, connecting partner data and enhancing forecasting while allowing people to make final decisions.
