Call for Submissions for Pilgrimages

Who are you? Who are you supposed to be? Who are you becoming? Who do you show the world? Who is the real you?

This year, we invite writers to creatively delve into the theme of Identity and explore the multifaceted concept of self.

We are looking for creative work that is honest, vulnerable, and unflinching. Tell us about the identity you were born with, the one you created, or the one you are still trying to find. Poems, prose, fiction, and narrative essays are welcomed. Original, creative work on all topics is also accepted.

We are also accepting original student photography and artwork.

All submissions are eligible to be published in the Spring 2027 issue of Pilgrimages, IU’s literary magazine.

Submit to Dr. Virginia Lindak at vlindak@immaculata.edu

Submissions are due Nov. 30.
