Annual Required Training

In accordance with IU community standards, all faculty and staff are required to complete the following courses on these important topics.

Human Resources

• Workplace Bullying: Awareness and Prevention (27 minutes) Helps employees recognize inappropriate behavior and equips them with strategies to intervene or report incidents.

Information Technology

• Cybersecurity Awareness for Employees at Educational Institutions: Security Awareness Essentials  (28 minutes)
  The convenience of web access makes it easy to forget that we need to protect and care for our information.
• Email and Messaging Safety (23 minutes)
  Provides an overview of cybercrime via email.
• Protection Against Malware (17 minutes)
  Provides an overview of basic protection against malware.
• Browser Security (17 minutes)
  Provides an overview of browser security and ways to browse the web safely.

The above trainings are due to be completed by Friday, April 17, 2026.

Title IX

• RespectEdu for Faculty & Staff: Title IX and Clery Act(60 minutes)
  Provide faculty and staff with the knowledge to act in accordance with Title IX and The Clery Act. Reviews legal foundations, reporting obligations, and practical approaches for creating a safer environment.

The Title IX training is due to be completed by Friday, March 13, 2026.

To complete the training, go to Vector Training and login with your IU username and password (or select the Vector Training tile on the MyIU dashboard).
