Preparedness & Resilience Series Speakers

Retired Deputy Chief Vincent Mulray and Battalion Chief Robert Kennedy of the Philadelphia Fire Department (PFD) will speak about the lessons learned from the 2018 Colorado Street house fire. The tragic incident killed the occupant and caused the Line of Duty Death (LODD) of Lt. Matthew LeTourneau.

Both speakers were the lead investigators and authors of the PFD’s official report. The 90-minute program will describe the many challenges that firefighters faced, examine how the Incident Command System both helped and hindered the fire & rescue operations, and include a questions & answers at the end.

The event takes place in Loyola 127 on April 10 starting at 6 p.m.
