Alumni Spiritual Retreat

Immaculata University alumni & friends are invited to join us for a Spiritual Retreat featuring Sister Christina Marie Roberts, IHM, and Father Royce Thomas, CSsR. Themed “Friendship with God”, the key scriptures for the day include Luke 10 and John 4, focusing on love of God and neighbor, and finding peace as we join together as a community. The talks by our featured speakers will be followed by group conversation, reflection time and guided meditation.
Light morning refreshments, lunch, and retreat materials are provided.
Retreat Schedule
9:30 – Registration & Light Refreshments
10:00 – Welcome and Opening Prayer
10:15 – Talk 1: Sister Christina Roberts, IHM – The Greatest Commandment, The Good Samaritan, Love of God and Love of Neighbor – Who is my neighbor? (Luke 10)
Followed by a period of group conversation and individual quiet reflection time.
12:00 – Lunch
12:50 – Talk 2: Father Royce Thomas, CSsR – The Woman at the Well – Discuss going from isolation/separation back to community. Jesus meets us in our isolation and re-integrates us into the fold (John 4)
Followed by a period of group conversation and a guided meditation.
2:00 – Conclusion
