Funding for international students comes from personal and family sources and in some cases, from the University. The International Student Proof of Financial Support Form must be submitted at the time of admission, illustrating and documenting sufficient financial support to meet the projected cost of an Immaculata University undergraduate education.
International students are eligible for grants and scholarships from the University but are not eligible for any type of federal financial aid. Aid is awarded after the admission decision is made. These decisions may be based on the results of the World Education Services (WES) evaluation of secondary school credentials and TOEFL, IELTS, ACT or SAT scores. In the case of transfer students, decisions may be based on previous transcripts.
The application for admission, along with all supporting file information, is the only application you need to be considered for a University scholarship. You will be notified with a letter if an award has been made.
Private educational loans may be available to subsidize any educational costs including additional expenses. Eligibility for private educational loans is contingent upon approval and based on co-signed credit worthiness. Co-signers must be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
The Proof of Financial Support Form is kept on file for continuing international students, outlining the family’s annual responsibility to meet educational expenses as a condition of continued enrollment at Immaculata University and for satisfying the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service’s regulations required for maintaining an officially authorized U.S. student visa status.
