The need for ethical financial leaders has never been greater!
If you have an aptitude for financial markets, investments, global economies, stocks and bonds there is a future for you in finance.
Immaculata’s Bachelor of Science in finance will help you develop broad skills in financial analysis, strategic planning, and money and capital management. With a strong foundation in the liberal arts, our graduates are ethical service-oriented business leaders for the global community.
Finance majors can participate in entrepreneurial and networking opportunities through Enactu, an international organization that pairs college students with corporate sponsors. They can also join the Business Club. You will also have an opportunity to gain hand-on experience by participating in a business internship and associated practicum course that connects course material with the business world.
Working adults typically use their work experience in place of the internship.
Once you’ve completed your undergraduate degree, you will be prepared for graduate school or further training to become a certified financial planner (CFP), a chartered financial consultant (ChFC), or a chartered financial analyst (CFA).
Where Can I work
Whether you want to work on Wall Street or Main Street, career options are plentiful for finance majors including budget officer, lending officer, financial analyst, risk management, financial planner/advisor, investment banker, bond trader, stock broker or portfolio manager.
