Immaculata News

Immaculata University has created the Centennial Scholarship to recognize academic excellence in high school students and to provide access to affordable education. Eligible students may qualify for a $14,000 scholarship per year. This scholarship makes tuition at Immaculata comparable to current in-state public university rates.

The merit-based Centennial Scholarship will be awarded to high school students with a minimum 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and 1150 SAT who will begin attending Immaculata University as freshman in Fall 2019. This academic merit scholarship can be attained for an additional three consecutive years of full time undergraduate enrollment at Immaculata.*

Jared VizI had a robust, challenging academic experience in high school, with high-level classes and rich options for electives. When I was looking for a college, I wanted a liberal arts education. The well-rounded core curriculum at Immaculata drew me to the university. I wanted something that would challenge me to see things from different perspectives and open my eyes to different disciplines. I also wanted to challenge myself with higher academic standards, and the honors program gave me that avenue.

IMMACULATA UNIVERSITY OFFERS NEW SCHOLARSHIP THAT CONTINUES COMMITMENT TO AFFORDABLE EDUCATION

Immaculata University has created the Centennial Scholarship to recognize academic excellence in high school students and to provide access to affordable education. Eligible students may qualify for a $14,000 scholarship per year. This scholarship makes tuition at Immaculata comparable to current in-state public university rates.

The merit-based Centennial Scholarship will be awarded to high school students with a minimum 3.5 GPA and 1150 SAT who will begin attending Immaculata University as freshman in Fall 2019. This academic merit scholarship can be attained for an additional three consecutive years of full time undergraduate enrollment at Immaculata.

“With the new Centennial Scholarship, Immaculata can offer students a quality, private education at a cost comparable to what they would be paying at a state university,” comments Patricia Canterino, vice president for Student Development and Undergraduate Admissions. “It makes us very proud that we can provide this scholarship to students who have worked diligently throughout high school.”

“Immaculata University is an ideal school for high achieving students. Undergraduates participate in research projects under the direction of faculty mentors, have an opportunity to join the honors program and 95% of classes have less than 30 students. Immaculata University is a place where students truly have an opportunity to stand out.” Dr. Angela Tekely, vice president for Academic Affairs/Provost. Learn more about current student research projects and opportunities available through the honors program.

Building upon almost 100 years of education, the Centennial Scholarship is just another example of how Immaculata University is providing access to affordable education and broadening options for students across the United States. Recently, Immaculata announced that tuition would not increase through the 2020 academic year.

Details about how to qualify for the Centennial Scholarship may be obtained from the Immaculata’s College of Undergraduate Studies, at 1-877-42-TODAY or email admiss@immaculata.edu.
