Important Payroll Update for Hourly Employees.

In 2026 there will be 27 bi-weekly payrolls instead of the usual 26. There is no change to your hourly rate, however your total taxable income for the year may be higher than expected, which can affect your federal withholding and tax return. To ensure your withholding aligns with your expected tax liability, you can use the IRS’s Tax Withholding Estimator by visiting www.irs.gov/W4App . To effectively use the estimator, it is helpful to have a copy of your most recent pay statement.

Please note: if you do not submit a new form, withholding will continue based on your previously submitted W4 form. You can locate the 2025 form in ADP, www.workforcenow.adp.com under “Resources”, “Forms Library”. The new 2026 bi-weekly pay schedule will be available under Employee Resources in MyIU.
