Doctoral Student Leads New Child and Career Development Center
Hilary Soring, a doctoral student in education, is serving as the first principal of the Child and Career Development Center (CCDC) Great Valley Campus in Malvern. Part of the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), the center is for students with diverse learning needs.
At a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 21, Soring, said “This school was designed to support students with a wide range of needs, and everyone here tonight helped contribute to a space where our students can learn, grow, and thrive.”
Dr. Melissa Reed, chair of the educational leadership program, attended the opening of the new campus.
