Job Placement for Graduates

College of Undergraduate Studies

Senior Survey, Class of 2014

Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness

In spring 2014, College of Undergraduate Studies graduates were invited to complete the “Senior Survey, Class of 2014”.  Graduates were asked to complete the survey regardless of when they began at IU (as a freshman or transfer student). The survey was administered for the first time completely online. A total of 86 out of a possible 266 graduates completed the survey giving a response rate of 32.33%. (Previous surveys were administered in hard-copy during Commencement Practice and elicited a response rate of 88% in 2013, 60% in 2012, and 84% in 2011). The content of the survey was the result of a collaborative effort between the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice President for Student Development, Dean of Students, and Dean of CUS.  There was a conscious effort to include similar questions on the Senior Survey that are on other satisfaction surveys to allow for a comparison view.  Longitudinal data is provided where available. All tables are arranged from highest to lowest average.
