Dear Immaculata Alumni and Friends,

I am happy to report on an outstanding year here at Immaculata University. The University is thriving, and this is a testament to the generosity of alumni and donors, the dedication of faculty and staff and the perseverance of our students.

In fact, following an academic year that saw the largest—and most diverse—incoming freshmen and transfer class in a decade, this year’s class set new enrollment records! Increasing numbers of students and their parents are learning about the beauty, value and outcomes associated with Immaculata, and they are choosing to come to our great institution. For this reason, the timing for converting Gillet Hall into residential housing couldn’t have been more perfect, as the number of students requesting to live on campus is balanced with our rising enrollment.

While our impressive enrollment and housing numbers certainly tell a story, there’s more good news to share.

For instance, to better prepare graduate students for in-demand skills, Immaculata expanded its online MBA program with concentrations in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, business analytics and human resources. We’ve also launched a Bachelor of Science in Business and Fashion for undergraduate fashion majors. Additionally, we've added a new Social Media Digital Creator minor supporting students mastering digital skills.

Also, thanks to the generosity of alumna Theresa Major Payton ’89 and her husband, Chris Payton, our business students now benefit from the creation of the Major-Payton School of Business, home to our undergraduate and graduate business and leadership programs. Students will focus on emerging fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and global trade, which reinforces Immaculata’s commitment to preparing ethical, forward-thinking leaders who will excel as professionals and add value to their employers.

We have much to be proud of, and this academic year promises to continue the momentum we have created. I am truly grateful for your generous support of our alma mater.
