Fashion Merchandising, Minor

Immaculata’s fashion merchandising minor will help you sharpen both your creative and analytical skills.
You will learn from experts in the business of fashion, exploring the relationships between design,
merchandising, and marketing. A minor in fashion merchandising can complement majors such as
business, marketing, or communication.

Buying Minor

This minor, intended primarily for fashion merchandising majors, will help you learn how to
develop a merchandise assortment plan that includes planning sales, stock levels, and inventory
turn.

Graphic Design for Fashion Minor

This minor will train you to produce clear and cohesive solutions to design problems in a variety
of media.

Product Development Minor

In this minor, you will learn about garment construction and production techniques, and you will
be able to manage the product development process with the supply chain.

Visual Merchandising Minor

This minor will prepare you to plan, design and install various displays and styling concepts,
understanding key design elements and principles, retail and marketing strategy and brand image.
You will also gain experience with relevant business applications.
