BIOGRAPHY:

I am the Assistant Director of the Writing Center and the Graduate Writing Support Specialist at IU. In these roles, I work with doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate students in one-to-one sessions, help design and deliver writing workshops for students and faculty, and support the day-to-day operations of the Writing Center. Through consultancy and workshops, I aim to promote (and participate in) an active, resourced, and empowered community of writers at IU. I hold a PhD in English from Rice University, where I honed my own academic writing craft, taught English and first-year writing seminars, and earned a Certificate in Teaching and Learning. Before transitioning to a full-time role at IU, I served as a founding faculty member and administrator at an all-girls independent online school.
