BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Laura Eisemann has been an assistant professor at Immaculata University in the Education Division since August 2021. Prior to joining the faculty in the Division of Education at Immaculata University, Dr. Eisemann was an adjunct professor. She has over 15 years of higher education experience. While an adjunct professor, Dr. Eisemann worked full time as an Analyst Consultant for Pennsylvania’s Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN). In this role, Dr. Eisemann provided training and consultation to various school districts across the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Eisemann has presented her research findings at the National Autism Conference as well as more recently at the PAC-TE Teacher Education Assembly. Dr. Eisemann was the recipient of the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Bureau of Special Education Performance Grant: Developing Future Special Educators in 2022 and well as in 2024.

Research Interests:

Dr. Eisemann’s areas of expertise are special education, educational research and methodology, educational leadership, and applied behavior analysis. She works with student researchers at the undergraduate level on research in the area of special education transition planning and mentorship. Dr. Eisemann also supports doctoral students in their dissertation research.
