BIOGRAPHY:

Mrs. Adrian Smith is a graduate of Immaculata University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She received her Master of Music in Music Education and Kodaly Level 4 certification from West Chester University.

She is the Coordinator of Music Education and directs the Chorale and Chamber Choir Ensembles at Immaculata University. She teaches courses in Aural Skills, Music Appreciation, and Music Education. Outside of Immaculata, Smith enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting, and playing flute, guitar, ukulele, and the mountain dulcimer.

Throughout her career Smith taught elementary and middle school general music, guitar, and directed both middle and high school choirs. In addition to teaching, Smith held several positions of leadership, including Upper School Fine Arts Lead Teacher and Teaching and Learning Representative. She is an active participant in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association/National Association for Music Education (PMEA/NAfME) and Organization of American Kodaly Educators (OAKE). She successfully prepared students for participation in district, regional, state, and national choir performances.
