BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Jillian Hall obtained her athletic training certification in 2012 and immediately started practicing as an athletic trainer at the University of Georgia with the national runner up equestrian team. While completing her master’s degree, she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Warren Hills Regional High School in New Jersey. She then spent five years as an athletic trainer at Arcadia University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with primary responsibility for the field hockey, men’s and women’s swim teams, men’s lacrosse team, and post-surgical rehabilitations. She moved onto St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as a Sports Medicine Coordinator, in which she had responsibilities such as: development of the network’s “Return to Play Program”, Sports Performance Resident Program, development of female strength training programs and presentation series, integration of Special Olympics initiatives, and other administrative and clinical duties. During her four years at St. Luke’s, she also began teaching as an adjunct professor at Thomas Jefferson University and Cedar Crest College. She is the coordinator of medical services for the Special Olympics Fall Festival, held annually at Villanova University.
Dr. Hall maintains her athletic training certification (ATC) as well as the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and USA Weightlifting Coach certification. After a record-setting collegiate career as a javelin thrower, she continues to be a competitive weightlifter, having represented Team USA at international meets and medaling at several national meets.
