BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Holt has been a certified athletic trainer (ATC) since 2003. Prior to joining Immaculata’s Masters of Athletic Training program faculty full time in 2023, she had been an adjunct professor in the Department of Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Science for 2 years. Additionally, she spent 17 years as an Athletic Trainer at Episcopal Academy (EA) in Newtown Square, PA and 2 years at Lower Merion High School. Dr. Holt’s research interests were largely inspired by what she saw in the clinical field at EA. Ultimately, those interests led her to pursue her doctorate with a research focus on concussion symptom severity and recovery in female athletes.
