New Student Orientation

New student orientation chairs

Immaculata's New Student Orientation chair team is excited to welcome new and transfer students to the IU community! The orientation team is planning fun activities and programs for the entire weekend to help get you acclimated with the campus and your peers.

About New Student Orientation

Our orientation program will provide support as you transition to a vibrant, service-oriented community. Immaculata's professional staff in Academic Affairs and Student Development and Engagement, working together with a trained, enthusiastic student team, will provide services and support delivered in innovative, engaging, and fun ways.

Each program, although supported by professional staff, is student-driven—the chair team, pictured above, is the heart of the program and key to its implementation. Our orientation leaders and first-year mentors are trained peers who will engage with you throughout the summer and into the academic year, acclimating you to the history, traditions, and values that make the IU experience unique.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact an NSO chair at or 610-647-4400 etc. 3117.
