  • MATH 108 Problem Solving (3)—Explores the variety of techniques that mathematicians use to solve problems, and teaches the use and development of these techniques to solve open-ended problems that require incorporating knowledge from other fields.  This course is offered during the day.
  • MATH 203 Intermediate Mathematics I (3) –Focus on the study and analysis of data and functions through interpretation of real-world examples.  The use of spreadsheet technology is integrated throughout the course.  This course is offered during the day.
  • INFO 215 Social Computing (3)—Examines the use of social software while exploring the benefits and issues associated with the latest digital technology.  Develops proficiency in terms of effective use of data and information.  This course is offered during the day.
  • INFO 230 Web Design (3)- Focuses on developing skills for designing, implementing and testing web-based applications. Includes the use of current tools, databases and digital media.  This course is offered in the evening.

These are interdisciplinary courses, housed in the Math/IT department and required by Communication majors.  We are looking for someone who can develop the courses further to offer students the most current technology.

Associate Director of Immaculata Giving

Immaculata University invites applications for a full-time Associate Director of Immaculata Giving in the Office for University Advancement and will report to the Director of Immaculata Giving.  The Associate Director will build and manage a portfolio of individuals (20+) who have the financial capacity to make leadership level gifts ($25,000+). Candidate will also oversee the Mother Theresa Maxis Society. The Associate Director will develop an annual plan to research, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors for leadership gifts to support priority funding needs of the University.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 18-24 months of professional fundraising experience in a higher education environment preferred. The CLL dean provides overall leadership and administration, supervision of personnel, fiscal management, strategic planning, and development of community and corporate partnerships for the College. CLL serves adult men and women enrolled mainly in part-time study at the undergraduate level.  The CLL dean works with other deans, department/division chairs and faculty coordinators in the delivery of a diverse set of academic program offerings and the development of new programs responsive to the changing demands of the work place and higher education.  Strong technology skill and experience with Banner software are desired.  The dean reports to the vice president for academic affairs and serves as a member of the President’s Leadership Team.

Facility Maintenance Mechanic HVAC

Immaculata University is accepting applications for a full time HVAC Maintenance position.  Applicant must perform routine maintenance, and repairs on air conditioning and heating equipment including boilers, chillers, split systems, pumps and motors of various types, as well as plumbing and electrical repairs on all related equipment.  Familiarity with Building Automation Systems and controls is also a plus. The position requires some on-call and after hours coverage on a rotating basis. Microbiology Laboratory Coordinator

The Biology Department at Immaculata University seeks qualified individuals to serve as laboratory coordinator and adjunct faculty.  Microbiology laboratory coordinator involves direction of work study students in preparation of media and culture, preparation of specific materials for weekly classes, and coordination of labs with lecture instructors (14 hours/week; 15 weeks; Fall and Spring).
