Congratulations to the Immaculata women’s tennis team for winning their first-ever conference title, and the first-ever Atlantic East Conference Championship with their 5-3 victory over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday night! Congratulations to the whole team and Coach Scott McTigue!

The Immaculata Unviersity women’s tennis team captured the university’s first-ever Atlantic East Conference Championship title Saturday night with a 5-3, come-from-behind victory over second-seeded Gwynedd Mercy. The Mighty Macs dropped two of the three doubles matches to begin the night, but rallied to take four singles match points from Caleigh Masterman, Susan Callahan, Elizabeth Lipscomb and Jess Dougherty to clinch the title in a wire-to-wire effort.

Caleigh Masterman was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
