As the oldest and most beloved tradition, the campus community celebrated the 100th Carol Night on Friday.
Throughout the history of Carol Night, variety has been the companion of tradition. This year, Deck the Halls was sung right along with The First Noel and What Child is This? Soloist Julia Gillies ’22, gave a beautiful rendition of O Holy Night.
The Madrigal Singers and the Immaculata Chorale, under the direction of Ms. Adrian Smith, director of Choral Ensembles, highlighted the festive music. Father Carl Braschoss, O. Praem., chaplain, gave a Christmas greeting before soloist Regina Jelski ’25 sung Ecce Ancilla (I am the Servant). Sister Kathleen Doutt served as pianist and Joseph Gehring played the organ. Peter McHugh ’24 provided the narration for the evening.
