Immaculata and Gwynedd Mercy University Partner to Provide Two Advanced Degree Program Pathways

Immaculata University has entered into a partnership with Gwynedd Mercy University to create a pathway for students to enroll in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) at Gwynedd Mercy University.

The top three Immaculata undergraduate science majors who apply to Gwynedd Mercy University’s MSOT program and meet admissions requirements will be guaranteed an interview for this competitive graduate-level program, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).  Students from Immaculata’s M.S.N. program can apply for admission to Gwynedd Mercy’s online DNP program. Students must complete all required coursework and meet academic requirements for admission to the DNP program. Both programs are offered through the Frances M. Maguire School of Nursing and Health Professions.

“Immaculata University prepares our nursing students and science majors to enter graduate school so they can excel in their chosen field,” states Dr. Angela Tekely, vice president for Academic Affairs and provost. “I am pleased that our new partnership with Gwynedd Mercy University will continue that level of excellence.”
