Immaculata University dedicated its new eight-lane athletic track that surrounds Draper Walsh Stadium.

The track will support Immaculata’s NCAA Division III track and field as well as the university’s exercise science programs, providing a venue for cardio endurance testing and clinical rotations.

The Immaculata community thanks the PA Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program and alumna Cindy Mark ’79 for their contributions to making the $1.2M athletic track a reality.

“The new eight-lane track adds to our top-notch athletic facilities here at Immaculata,” comments new athletic director Amy Badorf. “For the first time in our track and field program’s 10 year history, it will have a world class, competitive track for practice and competition.”

James Ruppert ’22 began the dedication with a prayer. State Senator Andrew E. Dinniman addressed the crowd assembled for the dedication along with President Barbara Lettiere, Vice President Patricia Canterino and Cindy Mark. Father Bill Trader, O. Praem, chaplain, provided the blessing.
