Immaculata News

As the Omicron variant spreads locally and globally, Immaculata is working quickly to adapt our protocols to ensure the health and safety of our community. We continue to follow the guidance of medical professionals, researchers and health organizations as this pandemic continues.

As of January 16th, to make their December guidance clearer, the CDC revised the terms defining vaccination status. In alignment with the latest CDC recommendations, Immaculata has updated our Spring 2022 COVID-19 policies effective immediately.

Vaccination Status

We require all students and employees to be fully vaccinated and strongly encourage all community members to be up to date on their COVID-19 vaccinations. Please see the definition of fully vaccinated and up to date below:

Required by Immaculata University

Fully vaccinated means a person has received their primary series of COVID-19 vaccines.

Primary Series means:

  • Pfizer-BioNTech- 2 doses given 3 weeks (21 days)
  • Moderna- 2 doses given 4 weeks (28 days)
  • Johnson & Johnson Janssen (J&J)- 1 dose

Strongly encouraged by Immaculata University

Up to date means a person has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.
