What do Mission and Ministry Mean?

Dear Immaculata Community,

“We are challenged to move more and more from seeing a parish simply focused on itself as a service station or a country club, to being in the words of Pope Francis ‘completely mission-oriented’ (EG 28) as a ‘field hospital’ for the wounded. In other words, it is to move from maintenance to mission.”
