Dear Immaculata Community,

Kate Kearney is known for her caring and patient nature, always making herself available and eager to assist anyone in need. Her approach is non-judgmental, embracing differences of opinion without diminishing others, and showcasing a genuine concern for both new and current students’ welfare. Her dedication to integrity is evident in her everyday actions—she consistently keeps promises, treats everyone equally, and acts as an advocate for her students’ best interests, contributing positively to an increase in both student retention and success.

Kate’s supportive nature extends beyond basic job responsibilities. For instance, during a colleague’s illness, she demonstrated leadership by rallying support and providing practical help and meals.  More stories of her generosity could be told.  Overall, Kate embodies the spirit of the university, consistently giving her all, embracing challenges, and striving for excellence in every aspect of her role. She is a beacon of hard work, integrity, and dedication, greatly valued by the IU community.
