Living the Mission – Golden Heart Nominees Highlighted

Dear Immaculata Community,

Alexa Milano-Moyer is one who, sponge-like, has absorbed Immaculata’s mission and IHM charism.  Alexa internalized the spirit of Immaculata and has become for us who work with her, as well as the students and their families with whom she meets in admissions, a living witness of love and service.  She is calm under pressure and has the unique gift of meeting students and their families where they are.  She has empathy and compassion for those who may be stressed over tuition and is a reservoir of enthusiasm and information for those seeking knowledge about Immaculata and college life.

Alexa employs a thoughtful approach to recruitment, tailoring programs to meet diverse needs and showcasing the university’s strengths to prospective students and their families. She treats enrollment numbers like a member of her family. She is always willing to pitch in and help when other departments are in need.
