Faculty Member and Alumnus Present at Conference

Associate Professor George Schwartz, Ed.D. spoke at the Keystone Emergency Management Association’s 7th Annual Pennsylvania Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security Conference held in Altoona. His presentation was called “When Securing the Homeland Becomes Defending the Homeland.”

At the conference Schwartz reconnected with alumnus Robert Kennedy ’15, who was also a presenter. at the conference. Kennedy, a Battalion Chief with the Philadelphia Fire Department, presented “A Line of Duty Death Case Study: Lieutenant Matthew LeTourneau.”
