Celebrate Immaculata!
2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of Immaculata University!
While the pandemic necessitated the move of our Centennial Anniversary Gala to October 9, 2021, the celebration continues with 100 Years of Memories in November 2020.
Next Friday, November 6, 2020, Immaculata University kicks off the 100 Years of Memories celebration as our Online Auction opens.
You can join in honoring Immaculata University’s founding as we encourage our alumni, parents, and friends to join in the celebration by bidding on auction items, purchasing a buy-it-now gift, or donating during the Charter Day of Giving on November 12th. All funds raised benefit the completion of IU’s newest building, the Parsons Science Pavilion, a state-of-the-art laboratory facility!
The celebration site will go live Friday, November 6th, allowing you to bid or purchase items, and get a head start on Class Year Giving Challenge.
Ways to Celebrate
- Bid on an Auction Item or Purchase a Buy-it-Now Gift once the site goes live on November 6th
- Participate in a Class Year Challenge: on the November 12th Charter Day of Giving (early gifts also accepted). Alumni are encouraged to make gifts through their Class Pages, competing against other classes in attaining or exceeding class year goals of: $10,000 per class for years up through 1999, $5,000 per class for years 2000-2020
- Make an early gift online: If you would like to make an online gift before the 100 Years of Memories site goes live on November 6, click here. (Please note IUMemories in the comments field)
- Mail a check: to 1145 West King Road, Villa Maria 236, Immaculata, PA 19345 (Please note IUMemories on the memo line of your check, and make check payable to Immaculata University). All gifts received between now and November 12th but mention IUMemories will count toward the Charter Day of Giving.
- Help Spread the Word! Encourage others to get involved by sharing this email, and/or sharing and tagging others in the IU Alumni social media posts for the 100 Years of Memories celebration.
Share your IU Memories
- Enter a Memory: After you buy an auction item or make a gift on the Charter Day of Giving, you will be prompted to share a brief message – a favorite memory from your IU experience or a special reason for your gift. All messages will be shared to our virtual Centennial Anniversary Memory Wall.
