For the fall iteration in Immaculata’s biannual Preparedness & Resilience Speaker Series, Dr. Timothy W. Sevison will discuss why there needs to be unity of effort within the functional areas of emergency management and cybersecurity, using recent examples and highlighting incident potential. He will also describe some of the challenges to collaboration between EM and Cyber, and what it will take to overcome those challenges. Lastly, he will explore what we can do collectively within PA to prepare for a major cyber event with cascading consequences.

Dr. Sevison has an extensive background in emergency and disaster preparedness & response, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Management at Millersville University. He most recently served as the Deputy Director for Operations for the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA).
