DESCRIPTION:This Fall’s speaker series focuses on Global Citizenship\, encouraging our campus community to explore the connections between cultures\, economies\, and societies around the world. \nImmaculata alumna Barbara Weikert—an NEA Global Learning Fellow and former Fulbright Fellow—will guide a meaningful discussion on the value of global awareness and its role in fostering compassionate\, informed citizens. An alumni panel\, featuring study abroad veterans Mary Kate Welsh and Elizabeth Miller\, will share their personal experiences with cultural adjustment and growth. \nBefore and after the event\, attendees can visit informational tables hosted by Global Requirement courses\, the Diversity Office\, student groups\, and Study Abroad in the lobby starting at 11:30 a.m. Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your understanding of our interconnected world!
